Mike Crimes
Mike Crimes is a Principal Business Psychologist and has been on the UK leading specialist register across four global areas of Occupational Psychology since 1999. He has over fifteen years organizational development experience from a performance perspective, focusing on individual, team and organizational performance. He also has over eighteen years’ experience designing and implementing Assessment and Development Centres across public and private sector organizations.

He has operated as strategic advisor and people specialist in large complex environments across different geographies. He has extensive understanding of business goals in the current economic climate and applies Business Psychology expertise to align people with business objectives.

Mike was lead Occupational Psychologist on the Highways Agency assessment centre programme, as part of the government’s agenda to transfer police powers to a civil authority. Mike was responsible for the design and implementation of the assessment centres and materials. Over 3600 people were put through the assessment centres and through successful appointment the organisation was increased by 35%.

His design work over a period of ten years has now been made available in a range of advanced assessment exercises and business simulations. These are unique in both purpose and focus and are based on behaviours not competences. These materials come under the heading ADEPT – Assessment and Development Events Portfolio for Talent. Each assessment event or individual exercise is available for download through Scala.
