Girls’ Day School Trust is using the system for 3,500 staff, across 26 schools. The Scala group worked with the GDST on a tailor-made online solution to managing our staff appraisal process. A pilot scheme helped us identify how to best align the system to the needs of our 26 schools. The final version has been launched to our Heads, who greeted it enthusiastically. We are now introducing the system across our schools. Users need minimal training, even those who are less e-confident. Janice Caplan supported us excellently throughout, and we especially appreciate how she responded to our changing design requirements and to feedback from the pilot exercise. I was impressed with the product when I first saw an early version, and am delighted with the system now available to us. We regard it as an extremely useful tool both for improving performance management, and for identifying staff development needs.

Since the appraisal system has been introduced into Tilfen Land, it has worked really well and gives a good forum for both Manager and employee to discuss their own business and personal goals. It is easy to maintain and, if used properly, allows you to update performance quarterly. It has been a great asset.
